Ming Feng has been a prominent artist in his native country of China, before he arrived to the United States. Feng artwork is in the permanent collection of the Guangzhou Art Museum. Ming Feng was honored by the Beijing Peoples Publishing House in 1982, by placing twelve of his works in their yearly calendar. These calendars were distributed nationwide, which lead to the popularity of Ming Feng’s work. Ming Feng works in both acrylics and oils, utilizing traditional Chinese painting techniques coupled with western styles. Feng compositions usually include figures, landscapes and significant symbolism.
