Lynn Lupetti is a native of California, born in Alameda on October 7, 1938. Lynn was raised in San Carlos, a town located south of San Francisco. Her earliest jobs were art related, working in design and creating window displays. After high school she pursued the study of commercial art at the College of San Mateo and continued at San Jose State University. Once she completed her education, she accepted a position as an illustrator for a children's textbook publisher and was later promoted to supervisor of the art department. Lynn Lupetti used her gained knowledge to create her own paintings, which usually involved children deeply immersed in their secret imaginative world. Lupetti’s paintings create a sense of remembrance and wonder that allows us to glimpse into a place of nostalgia covered in rich color and meticulous detail. Lynn Lupetti has been developing a style that is uniquely her own, bringing an imaginative life of magic and joy alive.
