Adam Stone was born in the Los Angeles area of California in 1966. He was raised in an intensely creative family in the Fairfax/Miracle Mile area, which exposed Adam to a culturally rich and ethnically diverse childhood.
At the age of 17, he began selling his very loose, abstract paintings in Venice Beach, California. Over time, Adam’s work evolved into a more "Pop" style of art. For the last twelve years, this unique style of Stone’s has become his signature look. He mainly paints jazz, blues, and rock n’ roll musicians as well as athletes, always creating his own fictitious characters. Adam Stone’s inspiration comes from his environment, so he constantly takes “his work to the streets”. Currently, Adam has two studios in Los Angeles and Denver, Colorado, where he is working on large scale commissioned artwork.
